Why this film is important for children
Paucity of clean inspirational & motivational content is extremely worrisome, as our children are being exposed to mindless content that has no connect to culture, values, traditions, heritage & a healthy way of life. Return of the Jungle is an ideal tool for Socio-Emotional Learning.
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is an essential component of holistic education. It enables children to understand their emotions, build meaningful relationships, and make responsible decisions. In school environments, SEL cannot be taught only through instruction- it must be experienced, reflected upon, and practiced. One effective way to facilitate this is through storytelling and real-life scenarios that children can relate to.
The film Return of the Jungle provides such a context. It reflects everyday school experiences –friendship, conflict, fear, teamwork, and guidance-making it a useful tool for educators to initiate conversations and activities around SEL.

In my opinion there are very few films that can really be called films for children in India. Return of the Jungle was a breath of fresh air. It had a story line. It had animal and human lives running parallel, and had a lot of lessons for kids, namely strong friendships, building resilience, coping with bullying, respect for diversity, obedience to elders and many more.
In my opinion every child in India should see it along with parents I strongly recommend that we support it in every way. Vaibhav and his team have done an excellent job. They not only deserve our support they deserve accolades.
