Payment Security Policy

Introduction

Vaibhav Studios is fully committed to ensuring that every financial transaction on the Return of the Jungle Official Merchandise Store is conducted with the highest standards of security, transparency, and compliance.

This Payment Security Policy sets out the measures we take to protect your payment information, the payment methods we accept, our obligations under Indian law, and your rights in case of payment disputes.

We accept the following payment methods on our Store:

Payment Gateway and PCI-DSS Compliance

All payment transactions on this Store are processed through our third-party payment gateway partner(s), which are independently compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). This is the globally recognised security standard for organisations that handle card payments.

  • Vaibhav Studios does NOT receive, process, store, or transmit your credit/debit card number, CVV, PIN, or UPI credentials.
  • These details are entered directly on the payment gateway’s secure, encrypted interface, and are never transmitted to or stored by Vaibhav Studios’ servers.
  • Payment gateway partners we work with maintain their own privacy and data security policies, which we encourage you to review.

SSL/TLS Encryption

Our entire Store operates over HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) with SSL/TLS encryption. This means all data transmitted between your browser/device and our Store’s servers – including your personal information, browsing behaviour, and checkout data – is encrypted and protected from interception by third parties.

You can verify this by looking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

Currency and GST

  • All prices displayed on the Store for domestic purchases are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
  • Your invoice will clearly display the base price, GST amount, and total amount charged, in compliance with the CGST Act and applicable state GST laws.
  • For international orders, prices will be displayed in INR. Your card issuer or bank will apply the prevailing foreign exchange rate at the time of transaction. Any
    foreign exchange conversion fees are charged by your bank and are beyond our control.

Payment Authorisation and Charge Process

  • Payment is processed and charged at the time you confirm and place your order.
  • For pre-orders, payment is charged at the time of placing the pre-order, not at the time of dispatch.
  • In the event of a payment authorisation failure, your order will not be processed. We recommend verifying your payment details or contacting your bank.
  • For COD orders, payment is due in cash (exact change preferred) at the time of delivery.

Failed Payments and Auto-Refunds

  • If your payment is captured by the payment gateway but your order fails to be confirmed on our system (a technical error), the amount will be automatically
    refunded to your original payment source within 5–7 business days.
  • If payment is deducted from your account but you do not receive an Order Confirmation email within 2 hours, please contact us at
    sales@vaibhavstudios.com with your payment reference number.
  • Bank processing times for refunds are beyond our control and may vary.

Fraud Prevention

Vaibhav Studios employs fraud detection and prevention mechanisms including:

  • Address Verification System (AVS) checks for card payments
  • 3D Secure (3DS) authentication for card transactions where applicable
  • Risk scoring and anomaly detection through payment gateway partners
  • Monitoring for unusual order patterns, high-value orders, and repeat attempts from flagged payment instruments

We reserve the right to cancel any order suspected of being fraudulent or unauthorised, and to report suspicious activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable Indian law.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe an unauthorised transaction has occurred on your payment instrument in connection with our Store, you should:

  1. Immediately contact your bank or card issuer to report the unauthorised transaction.
  2. Simultaneously notify us at
    sales@vaibhavstudios.com so we can investigate and cooperate with your bank.
  3. In the event of a legitimate chargeback raised with your bank, please allow our team adequate time to respond to the chargeback investigation.

Please note that initiating a chargeback for a legitimate order without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended from future purchases. We encourage all customers to resolve payment disputes with us directly before approaching their bank.
