Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our Commitment

Vaibhav Studios is committed to ensuring that every customer is fully satisfied with their Return of the Jungle official merchandise purchase.

This policy has been crafted in strict compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which mandate transparency in return, refund, and exchange terms.

We believe in fair, hassle-free after-sale support for every customer.

Eligibility for Returns

Eligible Return Reasons

We accept returns under the following circumstances within 7 (seven) calendar days of delivery:

  1. Defective or Damaged Product: The product received is materially defective, physically damaged in transit, or does not function as described.
  2. Wrong Product Delivered: You received a product different from what you ordered (wrong size, wrong variant, wrong item).
  3. Significantly Not as Described: The product materially differs from its description and images on our Store, beyond reasonable colour/display variation.
  4. Incomplete Shipment: Your order is missing items that were confirmed in your Order Confirmation.

Non-Eligible Items (No Returns)

The following products/circumstances are expressly NOT eligible for return or refund:

  1. Personalised or Customised Merchandise: Products that have been custom-made, personalised with names, or made-to-order cannot be returned unless defective.
  2. Products returned without original packaging, tags, accessories, or in a used/washed condition.
  3. Products where the seal or shrink-wrap has been opened/damaged (for collectibles and stationery sets).
  4. Digital goods, downloadable content, and gift cards/vouchers — once delivered, these are non-refundable.
  5. Sale/clearance merchandise explicitly marked as “Final Sale – No Returns”.
  6. Returns initiated after the 7-day window without prior written approval from us.

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery by emailing sales@vaibhavstudios.com
  2. Include in your communication:
    • Your Order Number
    • The item(s) you wish to return
    • The reason for return
    • Clear photographs of the defect or issue
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 48 hours with a Return Authorisation (RA) number or a resolution. Do NOT ship the product back without receiving an RA number. Unrequested returns will not be processed.
  4. Once authorised, securely pack the product in its original packaging (wherever possible) and ship it to the address provided in the RA communication.
  5. For defective or wrong product returns, we will bear the return shipping cost. For all other eligible returns, shipping costs are to be borne by the customer unless agreed otherwise.
  6. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process eligible refunds or exchanges within 5 business days.

Refund Policy

 

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued where a return is approved and an exchange is either not possible (out of stock) or not desired by the customer.

Refund Method

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • For UPI, net banking, and debit/credit card payments: Refund processed within 5–10 business days, subject to your bank’s processing timelines.
  • For wallet payments: Refunds are credited to the originating wallet, typically within 3–5 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunds will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS). Please provide your bank account details when raising the return request.

Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, a partial refund may be issued — for example, if only part of an order is returned, or if the returned product shows signs of use that diminish its resale value (not applicable to defective product returns).

Non-Refundable Items

Convenience fees, payment gateway charges, and any promotional discounts applied to the original order are non-refundable.

Exchange Policy

If you wish to exchange a product for a different size or variant:

  • Exchanges are subject to availability of the desired size/variant.
  • Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • The exchange product will be dispatched within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • If the desired size/variant is unavailable, a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy

 

Pre-Dispatch Cancellation

You may cancel your order at no charge, provided the order has not yet been dispatched.

To request cancellation, email sales@vaibhavstudios.com immediately with your Order Number and “CANCEL” in the message line.

We process orders quickly, so cancellation requests must be made within 2 hours of placing the order.

If the order has already been dispatched, you must follow the return process.

Pre-Order Cancellations

For merchandise purchased as a pre-order (before the product is available for dispatch), cancellations may be requested at any time before the dispatch notification is issued.

A full refund will be processed within 10 business days.

Vaibhav Studios’ Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel any order for the following reasons:

  • Pricing errors
  • Product no longer available
  • Payment failure or suspected fraudulent transaction
  • Inability to deliver to your specified address

In all such cases, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days, and you will be notified.

Damaged-in-Transit Claims

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please:

  1. Document the damage with photographs/video immediately upon receipt
  2. Accept the package under protest if possible
  3. Report the issue to us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence

We will coordinate with the logistics provider and ensure you receive either a replacement or a full refund.
